A Few Words about Us and Our Company
PORT spol. s r. o. was founded in 1992. Over the years, our company’s primary activity has become the provision of consulting services relating to economics, tourism and communications, especially public relations. From 1994 to 1996, one of our divisions began operating a travel agency and currency exchange office at the Prague – Ruzyně Airport. The portfolio of services includes providing accommodation, including itineraries for visitors, foreign currency exchange and other services.
Since 2002, PORT spol. s r. o. has fully specialized in providing consultancy and organizational services in the field of Public Relations. We benefit from our employees’ experience working for Burson-Marsteller CZ and Donath-Burson-Marsteller. Among the clients for whom we then worked are Boeing, GE Capital Bank, UPS, VISA, Winterthur Pension Funds, Pioneer Investments, TVX Bohemia důlní and others.
Among the past and current clients of PORT spol. s r. o. are companies and institutions such as the Czech Beer and Malt Association, the Czech Association of Small Independent Breweries, Aquent, Kinnarps, Lexmark, Pirelli, Picodas/Garmin, Laufen CZ, Náchod Brewery, Inc., the Czech Research Institute of Brewing and Malting, et al.
Our portfolio of services includes activities in media relations and marketing communications. We also organize and manage social events. Furthermore, from client briefs we create copy and offer comprehensive graphic services for publications and other printed materials. We also provide companies and institutions with internal communications services and consulting aimed at preventing crisis situations in communication, namely by identifying risks and potential crisis issues in communications. Where appropriate, we cooperate with the client’s crisis management team, target groups and the media.
The head of the company regularly lectures and teaches at Czech and foreign colleges and universities operating in the Czech Republic, for example, New York University in Prague and others. At these institutions, he lectures and teaches his own courses, licensed courses and one-off seminars.
We are a family business. The director of PORT spol. s r. o. is Josef Vacl, and its deputy director is David Vacl.
